Billing for Pacific Bell Internet Services
Pacific Bell Internet Services subscribers are billed monthly or annually, either to your credit card or to your phone bill. Charging Internet access to your phone bill is only an option if you are located in Pacific Bell territory.
Each month, subscribers are charged a monthly fee to cover service for the upcoming month, as well as any additional usage charges from the previous month. Credit card customers will see these charges as a single line item. Pacific Bell phone bills will have more detail.
It may take up to 30 days after registering for Pacific Bell Internet Services before you see your first bill.
Dial-up Analog customers
Pacific Bell Internet Services charges a one-time fee of $219.50 for a year of Internet access. As with monthly billing, we can place the charge either on your credit card or on your telephone bill (if you are located within Pacific Bell's local service area). Subsequent bills will show charges only for additional services not included with the Extra Access Plan or for usage charges.ISDN customers
Our Annual Value Plan for ISDN is available for a one-time fee of $219.50 for a year. As with monthly billing, we can place the charge either on your credit card or on your telephone bill (if you are located within Pacific Bell's service area). Subsequent bills will show charges only for additional services not included with the Extra Access Plan.Please note that there is no refund of the annual fee if you cancel your Internet service during the one year period.
If you charge our service to your Pacific Bell phone bill you will see your Pacific Bell Internet Services charges included in the total charges on the first page. Additionally, there is a separate detail page that is divided into two sections.
- The first section is for Monthly Charges and includes:
- Monthly fee
- Global Service Provider (GSP) fee.
A GSP is the company that carries the Internet traffic into and out of your local service area, similar to a long distance company. This charge is included in the price plan you chose upon registration, but appears as a separate item on your bill.
