This procedure will outline the steps on how to verify and modify DNS settings for Basic DSL (dynamic IP) customers using Windows 2000. If you are on a Local Area Network (LAN) please consult with your network administrator before following this procedure. Additionally, you must have administrator rights to perform the procedure presented below:
1. Go to START > SETTINGS > NETWORK AND DIAL-UP CONNECTIONS > LOCAL AREA CONNECTION

2. Highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and click on the "Properties" button.

3. Verify that your settings matches exactly with the one shown below. If not, make the necessary changes.

4. Click "OK". Your DNS settings are now properly configured for Pacific Bell Internet Services.
