This procedure will outline the steps on how to verify and modify DNS settings for Basic DSL (dynamic IP) customers using Macintosh. (Open Transport 1.1.2 or later - OS 7.6 - 9.x).
1. Go to APPLE > CONTROL PANELS > TCP/IP
2. Verify that your window is identical to the one below. If not, make the necessary changes. Once changes have been made, close the window and save changes.
3. Your DNS settings are now properly configured for Pacific Bell Internet Services.
