This procedure will outline the steps on how to verify and modify DNS settings for Basic DSL (dynamic IP) customers using Windows NT4. If you are on a Local Area Network (LAN) please consult with your network administrator before following this procedure. Additionally, you must have administrator rights to perform the procedure presented below:
1. Go to START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL

2. Double-click on the "Network" control panel

3. Click on the "Protocol" tab. Highlight "TCP/IP", and click on the "Properties" button.

4. Verify that your TCP/IP Properties window matches the one below. If not, make the necessary changes.

5. Click on the "Apply" button then click "OK". Close all the windows. You will be prompted to restart your system. Click "Yes".
6. Once your system has completed the reboot process, your DNS settings will be properly configured for Pacific Bell Internet Services.
