GSP Coversion Information

Southwestern Bell Internet Services (SBIS) will be converting from one GSP to another in certain areas in the state of California. This will be an ongoing conversion over a period of several months as each designated area is converted. This conversion will be transparent to all customers. We have listed several FAQ's below to address your questions.

Will my service change? Will this cost me more money per month? Will I have to change any of my call numbers? Will any of my IP Addresses change? Will I have a different Help Desk number? Is my email the same? Do I need to notify the rest of my company about the change? Will the roaming phone numbers change?

Will my service change?
No. You will have the same services. This change to the Internet Backbone that supports your services will be transparent to all customers.

Will this cost me more money per month?
No. The price for your service will not change.

Will I have to change any of my call numbers?
No

Will any of my IP Addresses change?
No

Will I have a different Help Desk number?
No

Is my email the same?
Yes

Do I need to notify the rest of my company about the change?
No, unless you have technical people who monitor the network. A courtesy call would let them know they may see different routings.

Will the roaming phone numbers change?
No
